About Us

Depth, Not Surface

An integration of clinical depth, spiritual wisdom, and business understanding that doesn't exist elsewhere.

Our Approach

Deep, integrated work — not surface-level coaching.

Level Up was founded on a simple conviction: the leaders who shape organisations, families, and communities deserve more than tactics and motivation.

We bring over 60 years of combined clinical, spiritual, and business experience. Our work sits at the intersection of Jungian depth psychology, neuroscience, advanced adult development, and real-world leadership understanding.

This is a place of serenity and calm — designed for leaders who are ready to examine the structures that created their success, and upgrade them where necessary.

Founder

Simon Bloom

Simon Bloom is a high-performance executive coach working with founders, chairmen, investors, and senior leaders who have already achieved significant financial and commercial success — and recognise that success alone does not create depth.

For over 30 years, Simon has worked at the intersection of leadership, neuroscience, psychology, and advanced adult development. His work is designed for individuals who are highly competent in business and finance, but have not yet developed the same sophistication in emotional maturity, identity structure, or inner stability.

Unlike traditional executive coaching, Simon does not focus primarily on tactics, productivity, or incremental optimisation. He works at the structural level — the internal architecture that determines how a leader handles power, uncertainty, ambition, and responsibility.

Simon began his professional life studying for ten years in rabbinical seminary, grounding himself in ethics, meaning, and philosophical depth. He later expanded into organisational psychology, neuroscience, and trauma-informed practice, integrating cognitive, emotional, and physiological performance into one coherent developmental model.

His work focuses on

Emotional regulation and nervous system control under pressure

Identity evolution as wealth and responsibility increase

Moving from externally driven success to internally anchored authority

Increasing cognitive and emotional complexity

Building long-term coherence rather than short-term performance

Simon is known for being direct, rigorous, and uncompromising. He works with individuals who are prepared to examine the structures that created their success — and upgrade them where necessary.

Co-Owner & Clinical Director

Phil Joslin

Phil Joslin is Co-Owner of Level Up and Co-Owner and Clinical Director of The Surrey Centre for Counselling, Psychotherapy and Compulsive Behaviour.

With over 30 years of experience, Phil brings exceptional depth to his work with senior leaders, shaped by decades of engagement with complex psychological, emotional, and existential challenges. He has extensive experience as a clinical supervisor and has spent many years managing and supervising psychotherapists, business leaders, and executive coaches, giving him a rare ability to bridge clinical insight with real-world leadership demands.

Phil holds a Master's degree in Psychotherapy and is a highly experienced Jungian Analyst, known for his capacity to work at depth and to identify the underlying patterns, blocks, and unconscious dynamics that influence leadership effectiveness. His approach enables leaders to develop not only strategically and professionally, but also psychologically, emotionally, and — where relevant — spiritually.

Earlier in his life, Phil committed nine years to religious life, undertaking rigorous disciplines and formal studies in philosophy and theology. This experience continues to inform his work with leaders who are seeking greater clarity, meaning, and integrity alongside performance and growth.
